Lunch service in the Industrial Area, just inland from the Corniche, puts grease, rice wash and detergent through sinks that were never given a proper fall. By evening the line that serves the canteen and sometimes the staff pantry is slow, and a domestic plunger makes a mess without moving the plug. Those visits need a machine and a conversation about strainers. A family kitchen in Al Hamidiya is more often a seized angle valve, a tired basket strainer or a dishwasher hose that has split behind the plinth.
Dishwashers in Al Jurf and Emirates City add a newer failure: a flood from a hose the cabinet has pinched, with a valve that still works if you can reach it. Corniche salt reaches the valves under the sink in apartments that face the sea, so the hose replacement starts by freeing the isolator. Traps that look alike and block for opposite reasons

Usually it is grease in the horizontal run, not a collapsed stack. We machine that line and show you what came out. If the staff toilets on another branch are fine, we leave the stack alone and talk about strainers and a cleaning habit.

Not if the hose or the valve under the machine is the source. We pull the plinth, isolate, and replace the failed hose. Floor demolition starts only when water is still appearing after those valves are dry.
The cold tap under a Corniche sink will not close. Can you change the mixer anyway?+
We deal with the seized angle valve first so the riser does not have to be shut for a mixer swap. Salt locks those handles even when the cartridge above them is the part you noticed. Both can be the same visit if the pipe is sound.
